`HALLO` FOR LALINAC TRIPLETS

Kostic triplets: Marko, Nikola and Dusan, pupils from eight grade of primary school `Desanka Maksimovic`, Cokot, were pleasantly surprised again by Palilula Municipality. After the recent help to go to school excurision, the authorities from Palilula prepared even new surprise. Municipal councilor Milos Stojkovic, visited home of Kostic family and brought mobile phones to Lalinac triplets, like a donation from `Telenor `company. The boys` happiness was shared with their sister Aleksandra and of course, their parents. Nebojsa, father and worker of Public Enterprise `Mediana` in Nis and mother Sladjana are very proud of their children. In their modest, but very nicely decorated home in Lalinac, this six member family stands for a model for this Palilula village. Nis Mini Fest began in Serbian Army Club cinema on February 24 2010. This seven days film manifestation, with 14 films of the latest worldwide production, opened Sasa Hajduovic, director of `32 Decembar` movie (Republika Srpska). During the opening ceremony, PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, welcomed Nis public in the last remained Nis cinema. Palilula Municipality took over the responsibility of a supporter of this cultural manifestation. `Cooperation with cultural institutions, especially NKC, that is actually situated in Palilula, makes us more complete, since it is a part of our `Strategy of development`. That is why we are promoters and supporters of the projects that make our cultural space even richer and connects creators. We expect that everyone, who recognize true values and appreciate film art as such, would join us.

`ZELEZNICAR` TABLE TENNIS PLAYERS WON TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CUP

On ninth Table tennis Team Championship of railroaders of Serbia, organized in Lajkovac, the members of table tennis club `Zeleznicar`- Nis won the first place. On this occasion Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly made reception and hold press conference. Not long ago, the organization of International table tennis championship, that will be organized on May 8 - 9 2010 in Nis in sport hall of `Miroslav Mika Antic` elementary school, was given to `Zeleznicar`. The presence and participation of around 200 juniors and cadets female and male from Serbia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Republika Srpska and other countries in the Region is expected. This sport manifestation s organized with the support of the City of Nis and Palilula and Pantelej Municipalities.

While these days Belgrade has prestigious FEST 2010 film festival going on, tonight in Nis in the cinema of Serbian Army Club - the last cinema space that is still resistible to time temptations and transformations, one already traditional film manifestation – MINIFEST with the motto `Last cinema performance` will begin starting from 20 00 hours.

As it has beenpreviously announce,d from February 24 to March 2 there will be 14 movies of the latest worldwide production. Palilula Municipality has supported this manifestation in culture since 2009. We are inviting you too to visit Minifest and be a part of Last cinema performance.

While in Belgrade we have prestigious movie festival `FEST` 2010 going on these days, we have also yesterday announced the programme of already traditional `Mini fest` in Niswith the motto `The last cinema performance`.

From February 24 to March 2 movie fans will be able to see 14 movies in the cinema of Serbian Army Club from Belgrade Fest repertoire selection. `BRIDGE ON GABROVACKA RIVER IS NOT GOOD ACCORDING TO THE CITIZENS`

The citizens of Visegradska street in Delijski Vis settlement, are not satisfied with project realization of the project of bridge construction on Gabrovacka river, that will be connecting this part of settled area with Crvena zvezda in direction to Faculty of Natural Sciences. They blocked the works on this objec tfor the second time.

After the call of work performer, the location was visited by the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs – said Ivan Krstic, one of the people living in Visegradska street and informed the press and Palilula Municipal representatives.

One month ago the people living here sent the petition to the City and Public Enterprise Directorate for city and land development to examine once again the offered solution of the project of bridge construction and all consequences it would have to the area.

HUMANITY FEEDBACK: DONATING

On the occasion of Zorana Pejcic humanity work, craftsman who voluntary joined the organizers of the project `Integrated service for taking care of the old and disabled`, Palilula Municipality expressed its gratitude to this laborious man for his efforts and project supporting in a form of donation- purchasing carpenter tools.

At the reception organized by Municipal president PhD Igor Novakovic, donation was given to this humble craftsman with the wish to continue his noble and humane work. ` On this occasion, we would like to express the support to our longtime friend and associate of Palilula Municipality – Mr. Zoran Pejcic, emphasized the president. `Craftsman Zoran has been many, many times with us, whenever we needed it, but in that way, he has been there for the people from Palilula and whole Nis.

CELEBRATED SAINT TRIFUN DAY IN THE CENTER FOR VITICULTURE AND WINEMAKING

On the occasion of Saint Trifun Day, celebrated by the Center for viticulture and winemaking, the authorities of Palilula Municipality visited this distinguished institution. Like the tradition has been for years, in the presence of priests and many guests the cutting of grape vine tree was completed, cutting of Saint day cake but also the discussion about the programme of the Center took place. The president of Assembly, Milan Djurdjevic, general secretary Vesna Jovanovic-Jankovic, head of administration Boban Ilic, municipal councilors Milos Stojkovic and Boban Mikic visited the wine cellar and lab of the Center and then in the vineyard of the Centre were also present when grape vine tree was being traditionally cut.

LAST CINEMA SHOW - MINI FEST 2010 IN NIS February 24 - March 2

The movies fans in Nis will have the opportunity the see 14 movies from the list of this years Belgrade fest 2010. It is organized thanks to the cooperation of NKC, distributor house `Pro-vision` as well as the sponsors of manifestation. As the organizers emphasized Srdjan Savic, director of NKC, Dejan Dabic, editor of NKC film programme, Dragan Arsovic, producer of distributor house `Pro-vision`, ` Mini fest 2010 in Nis is organized with such a motto as a warning to Nis public and cultural authorities of the city of Nis there is the realistic possibility for this city to be left without any cinema projections, even this one - the very last cinema.

CONTRACT ABOUT TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZATION SIGNED

09.02.2010.

In Palilula Municipal building the third regular meeting of the managing board of Regional Table tennis Nis was organized where the decision about the signing the Contract about the organization of International table tennis championship of this organization was brought. After the meeting this contract was signed in the name of City of Nis by Miodrag Radovic, member of City Council, Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly, Slavisa Dininc, president of Municipality of Pantelej and Jovan Zivic president of the governing board of Regional table tennis Union of Nis. Vesna Jovanovic Jankovic, general secretary of Palilula Municipality was also present during this meeting.

SUMMING UP THE GENERAL URBAN CITY PLAN DISCUSSION 2010-2025

Within the activities of summing of the discussion about General urban plan of Nis Draft for the period 2010-2025, working meeting with the Municipal authorities, representatives of interested investors and responsible architect Miroljub Stankovic from the Institute for urbanism in Nis was organized in Palilula Municipality. In the estimated period 251 comments referring to suggested General urban city plan and 45 remarks came from the territory of Palilula. They refer to the objects of individual and collective residence and organization of traffic roads. The president of Palilula Municipality emphasized the importance of adopting this strategic document `with which application we can improve the work of Palilula Municipality and the City itself` and emphasized that strategic planning is present in the work of this local government organization and documents that were adopted by this organization.

VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CONTINUES

One more in the activities of voluntary blood donation actions that in the cooperation with Palilula Municipality is organized with the `Institute for blood transfusion - Nis` in Local Community building `Palilula` was a part of promotion that is being realized with the motivation words: `YOUR FIVE MINUTES - SOMEONE`S WHOLE LIFE`.

President of Palilula Municipality answered the call who had been himself a donor for more than ten times. He called the citizens of Palilula to join Municipal and Institute`s action and donate their blood. `Even once it happened to me that during one medical procedure in Clinical Centre when blood was necessary for my health problems, thanks to blood reserves I had successful therapy and good results.

PRESENTS FOR `14 OKTOBAR` SCHOOL PUPILS

Within the activity of constant support to educational institutions, Zorica Stoiljkovic member of Palilula Municipal Council, visited School for elementary and high education `14 Oktobar` in Nis. For the pupils from first to fourth grade of this educational institution that work with the children of intellectual disability, Palilula Municipality in the cooperation with the donors, provided fifty presents with school tackle and other necessary equipment. That was the cause for meeting the educators- teachers and professors and talk about other actual problems of the work with school children.

CALL FOR VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONORS

01.02.2010.

Palilula Municipality and the `Institute for blood transfusion –Nis` traditionally organize the action of voluntary blood donation this Tuesday February 2 from 9 00 hours in Local community office building `Palilula` (Barska, bb, behind NKC).

It is expected that at 11 00 o clock the authorities of Palilula Municipality also come and join the noble cause together with president Novakovic.

All the citizens who have the interest in helping and supporting this action can take part and from 9 00 to 13 00 hours give the precious life liquid that saves lives.

Every day hundreds of people would have died if people had not given their blood to help. Let us show our human side.
